Business Analyst (Trading Department) - Lynas Foodservice
Location: Coleraine, Northern Ireland
Hours: 40hrs p/week — Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position
Pay: £20-25k depending on experience
Working as part of our Trading department your primary responsibility will be to provide support to our Buyers and Trading Managers. This will include high level management reports as well as more detailed analysis and assistance.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Producing Reports for trading managers including:
In year LTA updates
Core “Own label” reviews / compliance.
Manage cost increase windows and effective implementation.
Analyse impact of volume “buy-ins”.
Ensure timely communication to pricing and sales team.
Participation in pricing of tenders and development of improved systems and processes.
Cost Sector Contracts:
Price window maintenance / review.
Documentary evidence retrieval.
Ongoing price-file management.
Key Accounts Admin & Queries
Working alongside Trading Managers to provide support and analysis on national key accounts.
Minimum two years’ experience working in a business analyst role.
High level of competence with Microsoft Excel (will be tested as part of recruitment process).
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Must have the ability to manage their own workload and use their initiative
Be familiar with writing reports
Degree educated – relevant degree subjects preferred (e.g. computer science, business, maths, statistics analysis etc)
Experience within the FMCG sector

The selection process will comprise of an Excel test followed by a competency-based interview. Candidates will only be called for interview if they achieve a pass mark in the test.
