Store Manager - Lynas Food Outlet

Location: Cookstown, Northern Ireland
Hours: 40 Hours p/week
Type: Permanent

* 5 shifts during trading hours. Monday — Friday: 8:30am-9pm, Saturday: 8:30am-6pm

Job Summary:

Lynas Store Managers will lead their stores by example and will be visible and accessible to their team and to their customers. Store Managers will motivate and train their team to team to complete their daily and weekly duties to the highest standards and to ensure that KPI’s are attained. 

Store Managers will work effectively with their team, communicating, delegating tasks, achieving KPIs, following and creating processes and ensuring customers are a priority. The Store manager will be expected to adapt to change and be committed to self-development and providing excellent service delivery to the customer. 

Role Responsibilities :

  • Ensure store profitability sales growth, managing margin and controlling costs

  • Achieve all KPI’s set by the Food Outlet General Manager

  • Manage all operational and cash handling/till processes within the store

  • Recruit, train, monitor and develop all supervisory and general staff

  • Lead a team that strives to achieve all KPIs and deliver outstanding customer service

  • Generate more trade custom for the company, using the outlet as a selling point

  • Ensure the security of the store is maintained at all times

  • Ensure that all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations are met

  • Dealing with queries and complaints in a professional manner

  • Lead by example, following the company ethos and acting as a Lynas ambassador

  • Create an engaging environment for customers, provide exemplary service, manage complaints and process all customer orders and returns

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Recent previous retail/sales and people management experience in a similar environment (the suitable candidate may currently be in an assistant manager position or field sales position)

  • Experience of driving incremental sales and understanding percentage margin

  • Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Be able to effectively coach and support others

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in a food environment
