We believe what goes around comes around.

Our coffee comes from the Nariño region of Colombia which is world renowned for the quality of its harvest. In turn, this means the highest quality cup.

All the coffee is farmed at 1,700 - 2,000 MASL*. This level is the perfect climate of warm tropical days, followed by cool nights. This allows for slower coffee bean development which produces a sweeter cup. A chosen selection of farmers from the Nariño region have collaborated to produce this amazing Orbis bean.

An experienced team of Q-graders and roasters then treat and roast the coffee to elevate the notes of chocolate and caramel. This gives Orbis coffee a smooth and delicious flavour. With these notes this coffee can be enjoyed with milk or served black.

Orbis in Latin means full circle and we believe that by knowing where our beans come from - then what goes around comes around.

The Nariño Farms

Grown in a north east municipality of Nariño, close to the mountainous hills of Cerro El Dinde, Orbis coffee comes from a small co-op of neighbours who have worked together to produce these amazing beans. The area is home to generations of farmers who alongside coffee, also farm beans, corn, yucca, and various fruits. The fertile land lends itself well to the growing of coffee trees, providing the crop with the high quality nutrition needed to produce a great harvest.

During the harvesting season the workday begins at 4am with washing the coffee, before laying it out to dry. The families who have produced these lots, pay high attention to detail in their processing methods. They are committed to continual self education on how to better their practices and produce even greater quality in their final cup.
